Rakesh Adhikari (CEO)

 

Rakesh Adhikari is Semiconductor Industry veteran since last 20+ years, He has started his career with Motorola India as a design Engineer in year January 2000 after completing his Master’s degree from Delhi College of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering and B.Tech from Kumaon Engineering College Dwarahat in 1998. After Motorola he joined a semiconductor services startup company RF Silicon Pvt Ltd and worked in the capacity of India Head Operations and Delivery. In 2013 May, to pursue his entrepreneurship dream he joined Incise Infotech Pvt Ltd as Director and now he is working as CEO and heading Incise Infotech Pvt. Ltd, to develop Semiconductor IP’s and provide SOC and IP design and Verification Services.

At QwikChip, he is looking after the business development and managing our digital design team to meet all the digital requirements for QwikChip products and IPs.

Phillip Fischer (Director and Co-founder)

Dr. Fischer has contributed IP blocks to QwikChip for various applications such as power management, motor drives, automotive, audio and lighting.  Dr. Fischer brings more than 25 years of experience while working with a number of leading Silicon Valley companies such as Micrel Semiconductor (now part of Microchip), Semtech and Exclara where he where he designed a variety of ICs, including two smoke detector ICs, a video filter IC, a hot swap controller IC and ICs for LED lighting applications.  He also managed his own design consulting company, Fischer Design Services (FDS) located in Silicon Valley with focus on developing IP blocks, primarily in power management, and macrocells comprised of combinations of the IP blocks.  Some novel results are in the areas of LED lighting control, power path cells for half-bridge structures for synchronous switched mode regulators, and full bridge structures for motor control.

He holds three patents in the area of device design and power management circuits.

Dr. Fischer holds BA from Beloit College and Ph.D. in Solid State Physics from Dartmouth College, USA

 

 

Qadeer Ahmad Khan (Director And Co-founder)

 

 

Dr. Khan is an assistant professor in the department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Madras. With more than 15 years of industry experience with expertise in power management ICs, Dr. Khan worked with leading semiconductor companies such as Qualcomm, National Semiconductor, Freescale and Motorola, both in USA as well as India. At Qualcomm, he was involved in defining system and architecture of various power management modules for snapdragon chipsets catering to different smartphone markets. His work with Motorola and Freescale Semiconductor was focused on designing mixed-signal circuits for baseband and network processors and full-chip integrated solutions for high-voltage motor drives.

At Qwikchip, he is currently leading the research efforts in collaboration with IIT Madras in the area of power management circuits for future generation products which involve high-performance linear regulators, LDOs, switching dc-dc converters and power management ICs for portable electronics and energy harvesting.

Dr. Qadeer Khan holds 19 U.S. patents and authored/co-authored over 20 IEEE publications in the area of analog, mixed-signal and power management ICs. He serves as reviewer of the IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, IEEE Transactions on Very Large Scale Integration Systems, IEEE Transaction on Power Electronics and IEEE Power Electronics Letters.

Dr. Khan holds bachelor's degree in electronics and communication engineering from Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi, India and Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from Oregon State University, USA
